*I provide a personalized sports therapy service, focusing on injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and treatment. My approach includes a variety of techniques such as soft tissue work, infrared light therapy, cupping and more. I can also design exercise plans tailored for injury rehabilitation or prevention, ensuring a holistic recovery process.

**It is not necessary to be an athlete or even to have a sports-related injury. Sports therapy sessions are beneficial in a wide range of circumstances. It can help to improve posture, mobility, and balance, recover from injury, relieve pain, increase athletic performance, increase circulation, remove metabolic waste, and provide psychological and physical relaxation.

Soft Tissue Manipulation

Soft Tissue Manipulation encompasses a variety of hands-on techniques that are used to increase the function and mobility of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and nerves.

Postural Assessment

I perform postural assessments to identify imbalances and stresses in your body alignment. Through these evaluations, I can develop individualized strategies to improve posture, boost overall health, relieve pain, and prevent future injuries. This is an area that I strive to learn more about, and indeed there is a lot to learn. With the help of Brasher Biomechanics, I will be continually growing my postural skills.

Infrared Light Therapy

Experience the innovative benefits of infrared light therapy. This gentle, non-invasive treatment aids in healing and pain relief. Infrared light deeply penetrates tissues to stimulate cellular repair and improve circulation, accelerating the healing process.

Taping

I can provide K-tape or athletic tape applications if desired or necessary.

K-tape is a temporary application that is excellent for reducing swelling and bruising. It can also aid proprioception and balance, provide gentle structural support to joints, increase circulation, improve recovery from muscular strain, and help prevent further injury to an area. Common applications include bruising/swelling/inflammation, achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, shin splints, ankle stability, hamstring strain, quad strain, and numerous knee issues.

Athletic tape is much firmer and provides strong temporary support in incidences of instability or injury.

Vacuum Cupping

Vacuum cupping is an ancient technique. Traditionally, fire was used to create the suction into a glass cup. Now it is much more precise, albeit a little less cool, as we manually increase the suction using a small hand pump. You may have seen the tell-tale circular marks on professional athletes.

Vacuum cupping can be used in some circumstances to reduce pain, release fascial restrictions, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation to an area,  and remove toxins and metabolic wastes.
